Thomas E. Noonan is a founding partner of TechOperators, LLC, an early stage technology investment firm in Atlanta. He is also Chairman of TEN Holdings, LLC, a diversified family office investment company.
Most recently, Mr. Noonan was the General Manager of the Energy Management business of Cisco Systems, following the acquisition of his company JouleX in 2013, where he was co- founder and CEO. In 2008, he co-founded Endgame Security, the leading provider of software solutions to the U.S. Intelligence Community and Department of Defense, where he currently serves on the Board of Directors. Mr. Noonan serves on a number of other boards including; Intercontinental Exchange (NYSE:ICE), Manhattan Associates (NASDAQ: MANH), Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Georgia Tech Foundation, Inc. He was appointed and serves on the National Infrastructure Advisory Council (NIAC), a White House homeland defense initiative that protects information systems critical to the nation’s infrastructure.
Mr. Noonan served as the President and as a Director of ISS Group Inc. (NASDAQ:ISSX), a provider of network security monitoring, detection and response software, from August 1995, and as its CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors from November 1996 until the company was aquired by IBM in December 2006. From December 2006 until March 2008, Mr Noonan served as Vice President and General Manager of IBM’s global security business. Prior to joining ISS Group, Inc., he served as Vice President, Sales and Business Development with TSI International, Inc., an electronic commerce company, from October 1994 until August 1995. From November 1989 until October 1994, Mr. Noonan held high-level sales and marketing positions at Dun & Bradstreet Software, a developer of enterprise business software.
Mr. Noonan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a CSS in Business Administration and Management from Harvard University.
